“The Witch Doctor’s Hymnal” is Sara Bowen’s first book of poetry, conjuring memories of a magical, complicated childhood of love and trauma. Bowen has created a collection of poems to help herself heal, a hymnal to complement her mixed media installation, “The Witch Doctor’s Chapel,” on display at Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville, AL from Nov 2019 - Jan 2020.

On January 4, 2020 at 5pm, join Sara in the First Floor West Gallery at Lowe Mill for a reading of poems from The Witch Doctor’s Hymnal inside The Witch Doctor’s Chapel.
